Job Title: Doorman 

Job Summary: The Doorman is responsible for managing the entrance of a building or establishment, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for residents, guests, and visitors. This role involves a combination of customer service, security, and administrative duties to maintain the smooth operation of the building's entrance. 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
  1. Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. 
  2. Provide information about the building, its amenities, and the local area.
Security:
  1.  Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter.
  2. Check identification and verify the credentials of visitors and service personnel.
  3. Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the building management or security team. 
Operational Duties:
  1.  Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
  1.  Maintain accurate logs of visitors, and security incidents. 
  2. Communicate effectively with building management and maintenance teams.
  3. Perform routine inspections of the entrance area to ensure cleanliness and order. 
Maintenance of Appearance:
  1.  Ensure the entrance and surrounding areas are clean, well-lit, and free of obstructions.
  2. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Skills and Qualifications:
 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or security role is preferred.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to a certain weight (25 lbs.).
  • Dexterity to operate electronic devices and access control systems.

Work Environment:
  • The role typically involves working in an outdoor environment, but may require time inside in various weather conditions.
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the building's operational hours.
