Job Description

As an information security risk specialist on our team, you will use your experience to work with military clients to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You will review technical and personnel details from your supported organization to assess the entire threat landscape. You will guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. You will work with your client to translate security concepts so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems. This is your opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in security and compliance management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security audits
• Enforce security policies
• Manage security tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and identity management solutions
• Ensure compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks
• Use security tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Possess a Secret clearance
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Information Security
• 2 years of experience in security and compliance management or 5 years of experience in security and compliance management in lieu of a degree

Nice to Have

• Experience working in DoW and IC organizations
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or AWS Certified Security - Specialty Certification
• Clearance

Compensation

• Salary range: $90,000.00 to $225,000.00 annualized USD
