DevSecOps Engineer
Location:
Irving, TX (Hybrid / Onsite – as applicable)
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a growing security engineering team. This role focuses on integrating security across cloud‑native platforms, automating security controls, and building scalable detection and policy enforcement solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with cloud environments, infrastructure as code, security automation, and detection engineering.
Required / Mandatory Skills:
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps or Security Engineering, preferably within a structured security program
- Strong experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Experience in cloud‑native architecture and development, leveraging managed cloud services
- Proficiency in Python for automation, testing, and custom tool development
- Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD practices
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools
- Hands‑on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) for policy enforcement
- Experience in detection engineering, including detection‑as‑code and rule development
- Working knowledge of SIEM technologies and query languages such as Splunk SPL, YARA, or similar
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a security‑first mindset
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional engineering and security teams
