Job Summary
Elev8 is seeking professional, confident, and dependable Security / Door Hosts to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our guests. As the first and last point of contact, you will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience while prioritizing safety. This position is perfect for someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates effectively, and can enforce policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a professional first impression at the entrance.
• Verify IDs and ensure compliance with all Missouri alcohol laws and company policies.
• Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, respectful environment throughout the venue.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally and resolve situations before they escalate.
• Enforce club policies regarding entry, capacity, dress code, and guest conduct.
• Work closely with bartenders, servers, managers, and local authorities when necessary.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and VIP areas throughout the night.
• Complete incident reports and communicate important information to management.
• Assist with opening and closing security procedures.

Requirements

• Previous security, door host, military, law enforcement, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Professional, approachable, and confident demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Weekend and late-night availability required.
• Must meet Missouri's legal requirements to work in a licensed establishment.
