IDR is seeking a Security Engineer (OKTA) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves managing identity and access management systems within a security-focused organization, emphasizing automation, security enhancements, and end-user experience improvements.
Position Overview for the Security Engineer (OKTA):
- Serve as a subject matter expert for identity provisioning and security processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure applications for Okta SSO and support MFA, federation, and other IAM solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MFA, SSO, and directory service issues, ensuring seamless user access.
- Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation, security improvements, and new technical solutions.
- Contribute to security incident response and support M&A activities related to IAM integrations.
Requirements for the Security Engineer (OKTA):
- 5+ years of direct experience with Identity and Access Management technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IAM tools and platforms.
- Working knowledge of Okta, MFA, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, and WS-Federation.
- Experience with IAM automation and troubleshooting account provisioning issues.
- Strong customer focus, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
