We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Engineering Manager to lead our physical security technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of security engineers who design, implement, and maintain physical security systems that protect our facilities, assets, and people. You will drive physical security technology strategy, oversee access control and surveillance systems, and ensure our physical security infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability and effectiveness.

Key job responsibilities

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a team of physical security engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical excellence in security systems

Security Technology Strategy: Define and execute roadmaps for physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security

System Design & Implementation: Provide technical guidance on security system architecture, integration, and deployment across multiple facilities

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other AWS teams to integrate physical security technology throughout the organization

Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with physical security technology vendors and integrators

Standards & Compliance: Ensure physical security systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies

Incident Response: Lead response to physical security incidents and drive continuous improvement in security operations and monitoring

Innovation: Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and implement innovative solutions to enhance protection
