Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is requiredThis job is 100% onsite at Fort Meade, MDThe Schedule is 5:30 AM – 4 PM Monday through FridayThis is a W2 position with benefits. We are looking for a Security Escort with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to support operations at a controlled construction site on Fort Meade. The Security Escort will be responsible for accompanying non-cleared personnel, maintaining situational awareness within restricted areas, and helping ensure that site activities remain consistent with established security requirements.This is a hands-on position in a secure construction environment and requires someone who is comfortable working within established security protocols, maintaining detailed accountability, and immediately elevating potential security concerns.What You’ll Do

• Escort and monitor uncleared construction personnel and other visitors while they are within controlled areas of the facility.
• Verify authorization, manage visitor entry and badging, and maintain accurate personnel accountability throughout the workday.
• Enforce the site's Construction Security Plan (CSP) and established procedures designed to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of protected information.
• Coordinate with the Site Security Manager (SSM) and Facility Security Officer (FSO), and promptly report security concerns, incidents, violations, or unusual activity.
• Follow required notification and alert procedures when escorted personnel enter occupied workspaces or other controlled areas.
• Maintain required visitor, escort, and daily activity records and documentation.
• Assist with daily site opening and closing procedures while complying with applicable DoD/USMCFC, AT/OPSEC, CUI, cybersecurity, installation access, and construction safety requirements.

What You’ll Need

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, maintained for the duration of the assignment.
• Familiarity with security practices associated with controlled or classified environments.
• Working knowledge of ICD/ICS-705 and the ability to apply requirements involving classification, cleared escort procedures, prohibited items, and reportable incidents.
• Ability to successfully complete the project-specific escort briefing and acknowledgement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required Fort Meade installation and vehicle access.
• Ability to work for extended periods while standing, sitting, walking, bending, or kneeling.
• Ability to work safely in an active construction environment while wearing required protective equipment.
