As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter zones.
- Monitor access points, loading and receiving areas, and high-traffic spaces to help support authorized entry and help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe site conditions and personnel activity, document security-related concerns, and communicate with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
