As a Security Guard Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position includes conducting routine patrols, responding to situations with professionalism, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail sales floor, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, employee entrances, and delivery areas; verify authorized access and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
