As a Security Guard Full Time Driver Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas; report unusual conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with established site procedures; help to deter unauthorized entry and report access-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
- Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
