As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
