As a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Unit in Plain City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at designated points, following post orders and reporting concerns related to security-related procedures or site operations.
- Support shipping and receiving area awareness by observing assigned locations, communicating with site contacts when needed, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
