About the Role:
North American Land Development is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team in Monroe, LA. This is a critical role where you'll help protect our assets, property, and personnel while maintaining a safe and secure environment. THIS IS FOR THE NIGHT SHIFT. 



Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Enforce company policies and access control procedures at entry and exit points
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and perimeters
• Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, and daily security logs
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter potential security threats

Requirements:

• Valid Louisiana armed security guard license or commission card required
• Proven experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service preferred
• Proficient in firearm handling, safety protocols, and use-of-force policies
• Strong observational skills and ability to assess and de-escalate situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
• Ability to stand, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods
• Reliable, professional, and able to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
