If you take your work seriously and want to be part ofsomething run the right way, this is the opportunity.POSITION SUMMARYSecurity at a licensed cannabis dispensary is a regulated, compliance-driven role. You are responsible for the safety of the building, theproduct, the staff, and the guests - and you carry yourself accordingly.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Control access to the facility - verify valid government-issued ID for all guests• Monitor the sales floor and entry areas to deter theft, diversion, and policy violations• Maintain a visible, professional presence that is welcoming to guests and protective of the facility• Monitor video surveillance systems in compliance with Missouri DHSS-DCR facility security regulations• Respond to disturbances, medical situations, or policy conflicts with calm, professional judgment - de-escalation comes first• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time• Coordinate with store management on safety, security, or compliance incidents• Comply with all Missouri DHSS-DCR regulations and Vibe City security SOPs at all timesQUALIFICATIONS• Must be 21 years of age or older• High school diploma or GED• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Missouri DHSS-DCR Facility Agent ID before working• Reliable, calm under pressure, and professional in every interaction• Sound judgment in situations where policy is clear but the application may require judgment• Valid driver's license• Ability to commute to Wentzville, MOPREFERRED• Military service - veterans strongly encouraged to apply; DD-214 requested for veteran applicants• Prior licensed security experience• Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment• Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, or incident documentation• Missouri Cannabis Facility Agent IDWho thrives here: people who understand the difference between authority and aggression.
