Shifts Available:

• Evening: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

What You’ll Do

As a Security Guard, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor assigned post and surrounding areas to prevent security risks
• Conduct routine patrols and maintain site visibility
• Observe and report incidents, breaches, or unusual activity
• Respond to alarms and situations following company protocols
• De-escalate conflicts professionally when necessary
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV)
• Greet guests and provide a positive, professional presence
• Complete incident reports and documentation accurately
• Remain on post until properly relieved

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to commute to Oneonta, NY

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of security experience (school setting a plus)
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
