Security Guard

By the Sea Resorts is seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to provide protection and ensure the safety of multiple properties across our beautiful Panama City Beach locations. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol multiple resort properties to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and assets.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and property to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including access control and visitor verification.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and staff with security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a security guard or in a related security role preferred.
• Valid security guard license or certification where applicable.
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong observational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy with a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
