Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, entry points, parking areas, transit access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor high-traffic public areas and restricted access points, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
• Support orderly movement throughout the location by providing directions, assisting with crowd monitoring during peak periods, and following post orders related to transportation operations and customer interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
