What you will do
- Patrol transit stations, platforms, vehicles, and surrounding areas
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe or disruptive behavior
- Assist passengers with directions, information, and general support
- Monitor access points and observe activities to identify safety concerns
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls per protocol
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, transit staff, and local authorities as needed
- Document incidents accurately and completely
You will be a great fit if you
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior security, customer service, or public‑facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure situations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must meet applicable licensing, background check, and training requirements
