Patrol & Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of facilities, monitor alarms and security systems, check for safety hazards, and identify violations of laws and rules.
Access Control & Escort: Control the entrance and exit of individuals by verifying identity, purpose of visit, and authorization; escort individuals when necessary to ensure safety.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to calls and take appropriate action during emergencies; locate and address unauthorized individuals.
Communication & Reporting: Report security concerns to supervisors and coordinate with law enforcement agencies to exchange information or request assistance as needed. Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports, vehicle citations, visitor logs, and property reports.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate security and communication equipment, including two-way radios, surveillance systems, motor vehicles, golf carts, and restraint devices.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifying full-time experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Special Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Current CPR certification (preferred; on-site certification available if needed).
