Security Guards

Fresh Mark in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for a Security Guard to support the safety and security of our USDA-inspected manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.

$16.00/Hour 

Key Accountabilities:   

• Patrol facility grounds and parking lots to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of personnel, property, and company assets.
• Monitor facility entrances and exits, verifying identification and authorizing access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors.
• Conduct truck and trailer inspections, including verifying trailer numbers, seals, and required documentation upon arrival and departure.
• Inspect parked trailers and company property for security concerns, unauthorized access, or signs of tampering.
• Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control equipment and report malfunctions or security breaches.
• Maintain accurate logs and written reports documenting daily activities, visitor registrations, trailer inspections, incidents, and security concerns.
• Enforce company security, safety, and visitor policies and report violations to management.
• Answer incoming calls, answer questions, and route calls appropriately.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuation, severe weather, fire, and medical emergencies.

Requirements:    

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete reports, logs, and inspection documentation.
• Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication.
• Must be trustworthy and able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Availability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to conduct routine patrols of a large manufacturing and warehouse facility.
