Job Scope:
FlyLock Security Solutions is hiring a Security Installation Technician to install and service commercial access control, CCTV, door hardware, and low‑voltage systems. This is a hands‑on role for someone with strong technical aptitude who enjoys problem‑solving and working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install and service access control, cameras, electronic hardware and door components
- Perform locksmith tasks such as master locks, rekeys, door hardware service and repairs
- Run and terminate low‑voltage cabling
- Troubleshoot security alarm system and hardware issues
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Maintain accurate job documentation through internal intranet program
Requirements:
- Previous experience in access control, CCTV, low‑voltage, or locksmithing preferred
- Strong mechanical/technical skills and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with systems mentioned below is useful but not all required.
- Access Control - Lenel, Brivo, Avigilon Alta, DSX
- Credentials and Biometrics
- CCTV - Exacq, Avigilon , Axis, Arecont, ACTi, Pelco, Dahua, LPRLock
