Job Description:
- Security Installation Technician (High-End Residential & Light Commercial)
You Are:
- A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
You Have:
- Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
Your Location:
- In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
- 132 SE Shurfine Dr Ankeny, IA 50021
Your Schedule:
- Full Time (40hrs/Wk): Mon-Fri from 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Potential for Overtime (as needed: ~5hrs/wk)
- NO Nights/Weekends (would be extremely rare!)

Your Contribution to Knight Integration:
- New Construction & Retrofit Installations
- Service of Existing Systems
- Wiring: Pull/Term/Test of infrastructure
- Systems: DSC, Qolsys, Alarm.com (ELK & 2Gig a plus!)
- Panels: Hardwired experience required (Wireless only is not enough)
- Programming of Alarm Panels
- IP Cameras: Axis, Luma, IC Realtime
- Access Control Installation
- Environmental: Operate in non-climate controlled environments
- OSHA: Must complete 10hr Cert during orientation
- Time Sheets: Completed after each job/ticket
- Collaborate: Work with Sales & Design on systems as needed
