Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr

This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can lead crews, manage installations, and deliver quality security system solutions on active projects.
This position offers $28 $30 per hour, steady project opportunities, and the chance to grow your career while working on commercial security installations throughout Texas. Candidates must be open to traveling for projects as needed.
About the Opportunity / What You ll Do

As a Security Lead Technician, you will:
Lead and support low voltage crews on commercial security projects.
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot security systems.
Work with access control, CCTV, and other security technologies.
Install and service security devices including:
Door strikes
Mag-locks
Motion detectors
Panic bars
Door position switches (DPS)
Glass breaks
Security cameras
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project layouts.
Manage daily tasks to keep projects moving efficiently.
Maintain quality workmanship and communicate project updates with team members.
Travel to project locations as required.

Qualifications / Who You Are
You should have:
5+ years of commercial low voltage security experience.
Experience leading security/access control installations.
Strong knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
Experience reading blueprints and following project plans.
Leadership experience guiding technicians in the field.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality work.
Willingness and ability to travel for projects.
