As a Security Lobby Officer - Active Clearance in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a front desk location supporting the aero and defense industry, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, front desk protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location in accordance with security-related policies and post orders.
• Receive and document visitor arrivals, issue visitor badges or access materials as directed, and maintain accurate front desk logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
• Support a professional front desk presence within a highly regulated location by answering questions, directing foot traffic, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
