Astrion has an exciting opportunity coming up for a Security Manager to join our team and support the 39th Information Operations Squadron (39 IOS). We are preparing to hire for Journeyman, Senior, and SME levels. We anticipate a start date in March/April 2026. Cyber Operations Formal Training Support III (CyOFTS III) is a Cyber Schoolhouse program supporting delivery, development, and sustainment of cyber training across operationally relevant mission sets. The team supports instruction, curriculum and content development, training operations, and program execution at multiple Air Force and joint training locations.

Responsibilities
Perform security management duties consistent with the labor category experience requirements Apply Defense Information for System Security (DISS) experience to support security processes as applicable Apply classification markings experience to support documentation and security processes as applicable
Key Responsibilities
• Implement, develop and sustain multi-disciplined security support to a customers personnel and facilities • Conduct classification reviews of official government records prior to publication or addition to official files • Reproduce support for classified materials • Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records • Maintain document accountability databases, associated correspondence and manage magnetic media for accountability • Sustain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control • Process inbound and outbound security file transfers, security clearance indoctrinations/debriefings, generating and/or updating Fixed Facility Checklists and TEMPEST Addendums • Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit notices • Issue and account for entry credentials • Escort facility visitors and assist in the preparation of facility access control badges • Conduct entry and exit inspections • Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control • Perform data entry to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and subsequent systems • Retrieve/process Supplemental Information Requests (SIR), Requests For Action (RFA) and Customer Service Request (CSR) • Generate, implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures • Employment of a security education, training and awareness program • Conduct miscellaneous administrative support functions • Act as site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative • Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions • Prepare and/or process classified packages for inbound and outbound shipping via mail services • Maintain all customer sponsored personnel access information current • Perform indoctrinations • Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections of government organization and industry • Implement Top Secret Control for accountable material and associated correspondence • Prepare, process, and/or review Program Access Request (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility • Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires • Identify security clearance requirements against unit manning authorizations, conducting National Background Investigations Services (NBIS) processing or subsequent system, and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SCI access • Maintain a working relationship with Unit Registrar and Course Support personnel to ensure standardized student enrollment, in/out processing and provide daily security support
