Job Description
The purpose of this position is to manage and direct security for a client or Fluor site. This position is accountable for providing security management and oversight in accordance with the client requirements or jurisdiction. This role is responsible to create, execute, and monitor project security policies and procedures to safeguard property, plant, equipment, security information, intellectual property, and personnel.

This position requires understanding of Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security frameworks including physical security, personnel security, protective force operations, and familiar with Design Basis Threat (DBT).
Candidate will evaluate and implement security requirements for facility and process modifications; provide security coordination with safety, operations, and quality assurance teams.
As required, develop and deliver training on security standards, access controls, and emergency response procedures; adapt priorities to meet organizational commitments.
Liaise with client and applicable DOE security field offices, coordinating security matters with site contractors, protective services, and client security management.
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution; or equivalent work experience in federal security, nuclear facility operations, or protective force management.
Thorough understanding of nuclear safeguards and security; threats to nuclear security; nuclear security culture; physical protection systems; and insider threats.
Understand the DOE 470 series Orders related to safeguards and security governance.

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
