Description:This position requires a Top Secret clearance.

The Security Manager will lead multiple programs across SMD/Huntsville Alabama location.

The selected person will lead and implement the Industrial Security/Special Access program encompassing classified and/or proprietary materials, documents, employee clearances and classified equipment. Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Works closely with U. S. Government customers to receive, submit, and process classified request.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Top Secret clearance
  • Experience leading collateral, special programs, or Special Compartmented Information teams
  • Experience with 32 CFR 117, NISPOM
  • Experience with DoD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual, and Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705)

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of DD254's
  • Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control Systems
  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with multifunctional teams to meet common goals.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; persuasive strategic communication to executives and peers.
  • Strong interpersonal and team‑building capabilities; positivity and enthusiasm in collaborative settings.
  • Proficiency with security databases and Windows‑based software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) or project‑management tools.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
