Security Officer 3

Will work under the direction of the Security Supervisor and will assist the Security Supervisor in the day-to-day Security operations and/or as needed. This is to include, but not limited to the following: Lead of the security guards, create and manage security work schedules, assist and complete paperwork as needed, inspects, monitors, controls, patrols work sites as needed, sit in on PEC [as needed], and assist the Security Supervisor with the Security Guard staff evaluations. This position relies on experience, knowledge, proper judgment, and attending to guidelines to complete job.

• Experience: 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 5 years of good driving experience: no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and zero DUI convictions or reckless driving convictions; periodic motor vehicle/ driving record checks may be obtained throughout employment.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Training: None
• Special Skills: Good computer skills, interpersonal & human relations skills, oral & written communication skills, problem solving & critical thinking skills, time management/prioritization skills, and organizational skills.
