Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help to support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible, perform routine observations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including common areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, as post orders require.
• Communicate with residents, property staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, and access-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
