As a Security Officer Access Control Guard in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vehicle access, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity for the location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Communicate with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues, policy concerns, maintenance needs, and/or unusual activity that could help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
