As a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Intake in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain accurate visitor and employee records, and communicate professionally with personnel and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with the enforcement of site access requirements and help protect restricted operational areas, equipment, and materials.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
