As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer-focused approach will help deter incidents while supporting a positive community experience. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain access logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
