As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol retail and utility locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers exceptional service.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, utility-related facilities, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, and surveillance systems as assigned; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
