As a Security Officer Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift

Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, support visitor direction, and/or document security-related activity as required by site procedures.
• Assist with security-related support during high-traffic periods, after-hours operations, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professionalism and strong communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
