As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in support of security-related site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, loading zones, and other assigned locations, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access.
- Communicate with site contacts, vendors, and/or transportation personnel regarding entry requirements, restricted areas, and security-related expectations while maintaining detailed activity and incident records.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
