Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to control access for authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as assigned.
• Assist with visitor management, badge issuance, and detailed activity documentation to help support daily operations and security-related awareness at the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
