As an Active Secret Clearance Security Officer at a aerospace and defense location in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and other security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

As part of our hiring process, we would like to remind you that an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is a requirement for this position. 1. CPR Certification:

   • All candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. This certification should be current and recognized by a reputable organization. Proof of certification must be submitted during the application process.

2. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

   • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors. Relevant experience should be detailed in the application.

3. Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

   • Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of operating, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm systems. Documentation of relevant experience should be included in the application.

4. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

   • Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry. A brief description of previous experience with technology should be provided.

5. Customer Service Experience (B219):A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should have experience in interacting with clients or customers, resolving issues, and providing support. Specific examples of customer service experience should be included in the application.

    

    

6. Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements:

   1. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license in accordance with Australian driver policy requirements. This is necessary for roles that involve travel or transportation as part of job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted business areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, access-control activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
