Description: Payrate: ***/hr

The Security Officer will be a part of the *** Protection Services Department, which has oversight responsibilities for the protection and safety of corporate employees and Ada-based corporate and family member facilities. The position will report to a shift supervisor. The work and responsibilities are varied, and the position involves a rotating work schedule on seven-day work operations.

Additional Job Description:
"Patrols assigned sites on foot or in vehicles; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
"Monitoring and authorizing of vehicles or people in the property (Access Control).
"Respond to alarms and assess situations.
Requirements:
"A high school diploma and a valid driver s license
Preferred skills & abilities:
"2 to 4 years of prior security or criminal justice experience.
"The ability to multi-task and prioritize.
"Strong interpersonal skills.
"Strong written and verbal communication skills.
"A bachelor s degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
"The ability to utilize basic computer applications.
"The ability to lift 50 lbs.
"A strong attention to detail.
