As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and/or contractor access in accordance with location guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities, alarm-related procedures, and evacuation directions when appropriate, while communicating with Allied Universal leadership and location contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
