Security Officer Airport Part Time Dispatch

As an AirportSecurity Officer - CCTV in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type: Part Time - Morning 

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 21+ years of age
• Security Experience: 1+ years
• CCTV/Dispatch Experience: 1+ years
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to pass a psychological evaluation 
• NOTE: Will be working different posts in order to understand the geography of the airport

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report policy violations, unattended items, and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Support crowd management, traffic flow, and traveler assistance during peak periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
