As a Security Officer Armed Checkpoint in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure and welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, contractor, and/or delivery access, and document activity in accordance with community rules and post orders.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through the appropriate chain of communication when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, management, and/or local responders while helping to support an orderly and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
