As a Security Officer Armed Credential Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor access control points and verify identification, credentials, and/or authorization for entry to help support approved access procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Maintain logs, reports, and other required documentation related to visitor activity, deliveries, and/or access control events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify concerns, observe conditions, and report security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
