As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform armed and driving patrol responsibilities, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $35.62 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, restricted areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and protect sensitive areas.
• Maintain a visible armed presence and remain prepared to respond to security-related situations, policy violations, and/or emergency conditions while following Allied Universal standards and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
