Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify authorized entry, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with de-escalation, direction, and support during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining professional interaction with a diverse healthcare population.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
