Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Summit Point, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic venue where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post offering the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• 21+ Years of Age
• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
• Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience
• Armed DCJS or Equivalent Firearms Certification is REQUIRED

Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, document daily activities and incident details, and support assigned armed post duties in accordance with site policies and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
