As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, data-sensitive spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Serve at an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements, maintaining professional readiness and following all applicable post orders related to security-related duties.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity to help support authorized access, protect property, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
