Security Officer Armed Residential Gate

As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Dispatch in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Professional in a residential location, you will monitor communications and security-related systems, coordinate officer activity, and support timely responses to incidents. You will help maintain an organized operation through clear communication, strong customer service, and attention to detail while representing Allied Universal's caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive and document calls for service, relay routine and priority information to on-site personnel, and maintain clear communication logs in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor site activity through available communication systems and/or surveillance tools, report unusual or suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations by gathering details, dispatching the appropriate personnel, and following post orders for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections and/or military experience.
• Bachelors degree in criminal justice
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
