Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with screening, escorts, and visitor-related procedures based on location protocols.
• Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by coordinating with site contacts, public responders, and Allied Universal leadership during urgent situations and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
