Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors by monitoring premises and enforcing company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce company policies and procedures including access control and visitor management.
• Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to operate security equipment and technology.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by Georgia state law.

Work Environment This position requires standing and walking for extended periods and may involve exposure to various weather conditions. The Security Officer must be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
