As a Security Officer - Badge Access in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing or operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or access-control issues according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
